Angus von Alben is a large, delightful, 12-month-old German Shepherd. Angus is an extra-large love bug who is mid-energy and just the perfect pup all around. With his amber eyes, floppy ears and perfected head tilt, it is no wonder that Angus stops pedestrian traffic wherever he goes. Really, must someone stop to comment on his hunkiness every few steps? The poor guy just wants to finish his walk! On top of his show-stopping looks, Angus is a lovely, well-behaved boy who walks wonderfully on leash. He is so excited to leave his kennel to explore the world and, when he walked past a school that had just let out for the day, he wagged excitedly and nudged all the kids, begging them to pet him even though he was larger than them. This gentle giant would love a home with kids he can protect and love. Angus also meets dogs well on his walks, but mostly wanted to lie and snuggle next to you. This boy would be the perfect way to keep warm during colder winter months. He loves to play ball more than anything else in the world (well, other than dogs, kids and you). Angus performed wonderfully in playgroups, greeting everyone excitedly and inviting them for a game of tag. He loves playful, high-energy dogs, since this extroverted boy wants to be in the center of all the action! Our kennel techs refer to him as a “silly, playful love bug” who can play all day - they had to put an end to all the fun since he never slowed down. Angus would be a perfect fit for any active family who has another dog for him to tumble with all day.
